Former GHOULUNATICS Members Launch BUFFALO THEORY

December 24, 2008

Three former members of the now-defunct Montreal deathcore act GHOULUNATICS have launched a brand new project called BUFFALO THEORY.

Commented the band: "We've been throwing around riff ideas since last summer, right after GHOULUNATICS played its last show. We took a small break, and then started to jam off and on while searching for new band members. We then recruited Yannick Pilon on guitar (who we had known for years and had shared the stage with, on a couple of occasions),who also plays in ARSENIQ 33, a very well known band here in the province of Quebec that has been around for at least 15 years.

"BUFFALO THEORY was born…..

"We have three songs ready to be recorded as demos, which we will get too in the New Year. Those songs will be posted on our website in order to audition singers. We're working with no real deadlines, but hope to be ready for our first show later in 2009.

"The person we're looking for must live in the Montreal area and have extensive stage and recording experience.

"Our musical direction with BUFFALO THEORY varies from rock to metal influences suck as DOWN, BLACK SABBATH, CLUTCH, KYUSS, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, etc."

Interested parties can contact the band at [email protected].

BUFFALO THEORY is:

Gary Lyons (ex-GHOULUNATICS) - Bass
Pat Gordon (LES EKORCHÉS, ex-GHOULUNATICS) - Guitar
Yannick Pilon (ARSENIQ 33) - Guitar
Brian Craig (ex-GHOULUNATICS) - Drums
